For applications where mounting space is limited, the Miniature Profile Rail Guides promise precise linear positioning, smooth operation, high load carrying capacity, high stiffness, and unlimited stroke. They are available in sizes of 7 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm, with normal, wide and long slide configurations and lengths up to 900 mm. Special rails can also be developed. Linear motion up to 3 m/s and accelerations up to 80 m/s2 are reportedly possible. Gothic arch grooves at the raceway contacts allow the slide to sustain loads from any direction, and the shape of the raceway allows for large-load capacity. For more details, call James M.
