Released as the world's smallest switching regulator ICs, the S-8321/2/3/4/7/8 series of CMOS switching regulators measures only 2.8 x 2.9 x 1.3 mm. And they have an internal oscillation frequency from 30 to 100 kHz, or 30 to 250 kHz as an option. The devices are available with either an internal or external switching transistor with pulse frequency modulation, pulse width modulation, or both.Other features include current consumption as low as 6.8 µA, shut down as low as 0.5 µA, input voltages down to 0.9V, and an output-voltage accuracy of ±2.4%.
