Touting the broadest range of power supply supervisor/sequencers available, the ADM106x and ADM108x families provide supply-fault detection and sequencing logic, eliminating the need for external detection ICs. Described as simple sequencers, the ADM1085, ADM1086, ADM1087, and ADM1088 can be adjusted to monitor voltages ranging from 0.6V to 22V. During power up in systems with multiple power supplies, they provide a time delay between the enabling of the voltage regulators. Operating temperature is from –40°C to +125°C with a current consumption of 15 µA. The ADM1062, ADM1063, ADM1064, ADM1065, ADM1066, and ADM1067 super sequencers are user-configurable for simultaneous monitoring and sequencing up to ten power supplies. With five inputs that can be configured as general-purpose logic inputs and can detect voltages from 0.6V to 14.4V. The ADM106x family also integrates a 12-bit a/d converter. ADM106x and ADM108x prices are $0.30 and $4 to $9, respectively, each/1,000. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Wilmington, MA. (800) 262-5643.
