Introduced as the smallest and fastest dual battery charger on the market, the LTC1960 with crisis management capability is also reported as requiring less than half the number of external supporting discrete components as do existing devices. It also offers a 10% longer run time and 50% faster charge time than comparable devices. The IC allows simultaneous charging or discharging of both batteries without any firmware interaction. In addition, patented input current limiting with 5% accuracy charges batteries quickly without overloading the wall adapter. Pricing starts at $6.95 each/1,000.
