Space-critical, local distributed power applications are suitable for the LF100S Series of ultra-miniature 1W dc-dc converters. The use of lead-frame construction, molded packaging and careful attention to component selection and placement enable the converters to achieve their small size and reliable performance. The SMT series offers eight models that operate from input ranges of 5 vdc or 12 vdc and provide outputs of 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V. Standard features include input/output isolation of 1000 vdc, efficiencies as high as 82% and output power protection. All meet solder reflow specifications of CECC00802 (280°C).The units come in an ultra-miniature 0.5" x 0.31" x 0.25" package. All are specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to 85°C with no derating or heat sinking.
