Designed for use in wireless and battery-powered systems, the TK75018 monolithic switched capacitor dc-to-dc converter with feedback control has no external timing elements, allowing it to self-oscillate at 25 kHz. With just two capacitors, the device can create a negative voltage supply, which tracks a positive supply. As an alternative, the feedback pin can be used to establish regulation at a desired voltage and also as a shutdown signal input. Quiescent current is typically 2.5 mA and standby current is guaranteed to be less than 200 µA over the full operating temperature and input voltage ranges. Offered in DIP-8, SOP-8 and TSSOP-14 packages, the device has a starting price of $1.75 each/1000.
