For deployment in a myriad of portable products, the TPS719xx family of dual low-dropout (LDO) regulators provide up to 250 mA of output current and come in 6-pin SON packages measuring 2 mm x 2 mm. Specifying a quiescent current of 90 µA with both LDOs enabled, the parts operate over a frequency range up to 10 MHz and exhibit a start up time of 160 µs. Other features include multiple fixed-output voltage combinations from 0.9V to 3.6V via factory EEPROM programming in steps of 50 mV, a PSRR of 65 dB at 1 kHz and 45 dB at 1 MHz, 3% accuracy over line, load, and temperature, active output pull down, independent enable for each LDO, and a low dropout of 230 mV at 200 mA. Pricing is $0.75 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX. (800) 477-8924.
