Designed for low-cost, low-power applications, the INA148 precision difference amplifier circuit measures low-level signals in the presence of high common-mode voltages up to ±200V. The device is well suited for use in test equipment, power supplies, current shunt measurement in high voltage systems, battery-powered systems, battery management, and automotive instrumentation. Its single supply operation permits use in equipment where only a 5V rail is available. The amp integrates a precision bipolar op amp with a thin-film resistor network and can operate on single or dual supplies. It also features high common-mode voltage, fixed gain differential, low quiescent current, wide supply range, low gain error, low non-linearity and high common-mode rejection. Pricing is from $1.95 each/1000 in a SO-8 SMT package.
