SDS- And LON-Bus Modules Have Fieldbus Intelligence

Aug. 1, 1998

With "fieldbus intelligence" integrated into their design, WAGO SDS- and LON-bus modules are designed to make connection to their respective bus systems via an SDS- or LON-connector without expensive intelligence. The modules are designed for smaller systems and nodes with fewer I/O functions. The SDS-bus modules are interchangeable I/O modules with 4-channel modularity. An SDS connector provides the connection from the SDS node to the SDS-bus. LON-bus modules allow the coupling of digital, analog or serial communication devices, including diagnostic functions and its own controller or adapter that can be loaded into any bus module.
