PC Bus Controller Handles Both Three, Four Axes

Feb. 1, 1999

Designed for use with 2 or 5 phase steppers and digital input servos, PPC-2310 3 axis and PPC-2410 4 axis controllers perform point-to-point positioning, linear interpolation (2 to 4 axes), zero search, and mid-point interrupt movement profiles. Axes can be synchronized or moved independently. S-curve or any user-defined shape, acceleration/deceleration profile offers high throughput and smooth operation. These controllers are well-suited for multi-axis applications such as pick-and-place assembly systems, medical testing equipment, and robotics.
