April 4, 2013
High specification spectrum analyzer evaluates signals from 9 kHz to 3 GHz.

The GA4063 spectrum analyzer from Atten is a high specification instrument for evaluating signals from 9 kHz to 3 GHz. Featuring a keypad with soft-key layout and a 8.5 inch (800 x 480) full-color widescreen TFT LCD display, the analyzer is a benchtop spectrum tool suited to a variety of LF to RF application demands. Bandwidth resolution can be set from 1 Hz to 3 MHz in 1/3/10 sequence, with maximum input signal capability of +30 dBm, and phase noise is -95 dBc/Hz (offset 10 kHz). Advanced measurements include: channel power, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, harmonic distortion, third-order intermodulation distortion, phase noise, etc. Other features include simultaneous trace displays, color display by bandwidth selection, waterfall plots, etc. The spectrum analyzer offers standard USB, LAN and RS232 communication interfaces, virtual terminal display, and control and remote network access is possible using custom or commonly-available vendor software. The GA4063 is suited to electronics manufacturing, maintenance, RF education and R&D situations. The GA4063 weighs 15.4 lbs and dimensions are 16”w x 8”h x 7”d.
