The task of debugging circuits incorporating ICs housed in TSOP-style packages is made easier with the Delta Probe series of probing adapters. The adapter probes are used for simultaneous, hands-free, non-destructive probing of all pins on 50- and 54-pin TSOP packages with 0.8-mm pin spacing. The probes use highly reliable, minimally intrusive technology engineered specifically for connecting oscilloscope or logic analyzer probes to fine pitch IC packages. The probe uses small, wedge-like conductors that fit between the pins of fine-pitch ICs to provide a very low profile probe with a near-zero keep-out area. Each wedge is electrically isolated, thus providing two redundant connections to each pin.
