Described as economical instruments for bench-test engineers, the MS271xB family of microwave spectrum analyzers cover the 9 kHz to 7.1 GHz, 13 GHz, and 20 GHz frequency ranges. The family consists of three models: the 9-kHz to 7.1-GHz MS2717B, 9-kHz to 13-GHz MS2718B, and the 9-kHz to 20-GHz MS2719B. Shared features include a 1-Hz to 3-MHz RBW, an amplitude accuracy better than ±1.3 dB, and a phase noise of -114 dBc/Hz at a 10-kHz offset. Dynamic range is typically 100 dB. Measurement features include RMS detection and channel power ratio, AM/FM demodulation, limit testing, and marker functions including counted markers and marker-noise measurements. Additionally, each model measures 242 mm x 372 mm x 339D mm and weighs 5.6 kg, includes a 256 MB compact flash drive, 256 MB USB flash drive, Ethernet, and USB 2.0 connectivity, and specifies a power consumption of 35W. Starting prices for the MS2717B, MS2718B, and MS2719B are $12,950, $16,950, and $19,950, respectively. ANRITSU COMPANY, Morgan Hill, CA. (800) 267-4878.
