Outfitting the company's SDA 11000 serial-data analyzers, the SDA-PCIE-G2 software package debuts as the first automated test suite for PCI Express testing and validation. The suite includes parametric testing for Gen 1 and preliminary testing support for Gen 2, which users can upgrade as the specification evolves. Providing amplitude, jitter and eye-analysis applications, the software evaluates standards compliance via high-bandwidth measurement tools. It features X-Replay, a unique application framework where all stored experimental results reside in an ODBC-compliant database. A report generation engine, which interfaces with an Access-compatible database, facilitates the creation of custom text/graphics-based reports. List price for the suite is $5,995.
