Re-entering the CISPR compliance testing arena after a six-year absence, Agilent Technologies has announced its PSA Compliance Receiver. The receiver is comprised of any of the company’s PSA Series of high-performance spectrum analyzers and the new N9039A RF pre-selector. The combination complies with the CISPR 16-1-1 standard from the International Special Committee on Radio Interference and with MIL-STD 461. It’s designed for use by EMC engineers and managers working with in-house test labs and for third party test houses and solution providers. The use of the pre-selector for mix-and-match flexibility is a key feature of the compliance EMI receiver. The pre-selector makes it easy and inexpensive for engineers to upgrade their existing PSA to a fully compliant receiver. It also allows users to combine any pre-selector with any PSA for added flexibility. Contact the company for further details.
