The Model 555 digital-delay generator (DDG) provides two-, four- or eight-channel timing, delay, gating, pulsing, and syncing functions with a resolution of 1 ns for times up to 100 seconds. Each channel provides both delays and widths, making a two-channel version of this instrument comparable to a four-channel unit, it is claimed.
Channels may be gated and have independent output enable/disable so that any or several channels may be disabled while the others are operating. They also have a selectable output polarity and can provide one to 50,000 pulses in a burst, independently, on each channel. Prices start at $1520 for a two-channel instrument.
