In response to user requirements, the TDS3000 series digital phosphor oscilloscopes (DPOs) have been enhanced for greater power and portability. New measurement features include WaveAlert waveform anomaly detection, which automatically detects anomalous waveforms. This feature highlights the anomalous waveform and it can be programmed to beep, then stop acquisition and freeze the anomaly on the screen, save it to disk, or print a copy of it on paper. Other features include a new web-based remote control capability. In terms of portability, a compact thermal printer (TDS3PRT) plugs into the back panel of the scope, allowing users to print documentation on the bench or in the field. Prices for the TDS3000B series range from $3,395 to $9,995. For more details, call TEKTRONIX, INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200, code 1227.
