Based on an open architecture that allows individual function modules to be added as needed, the Modula EMC test system offers a cost-effective approach to EMC testing. The system meets all IEC/EN testing standards. Standard functions include the generation of classic interference pulses such as burst and surge as well as power quality simulations. Supplementary functions can be added at any time through a command structure and communications protocol that allows upgrades to be achieved easily and at minimum cost. A wireless remote control lets a user operate the system from a standing or sitting position when the system must be placed on the floor due to cabling and reference ground-plane requirements. Interbus is the internal and external interface to every function unit, while Ethernet with TCP/IP protocol allows integration into existing automation tools. Pricing starts at $12,500.
