The DS 1000B series four-channel, 2 Gsample/s digital storage oscilloscopes (DSOs) now feature 22 automatic measurements and pass/fail capabilities. Automatic voltage measurements include peak-to-peak voltage, maximum amplitude, minimum amplitude, Vtop (square/pulse), Vbase ( square/pulse), Vtop – Vbase, overshoot (Vmax-Vtop)/Vamp, preshoot, (Vmin-Vbase)/Vamp, average (arithmetic mea), and Vrms. The scopes also feature 12 automatic timing parameter measurements that include frequency, period, rise time, and fall time. A pass/fail test, one of the enhanced special functions now also available on the DS1000B series, compares the input signal to an established waveform mask. Other features include record/playback, logic triggering, and alternate triggering. Prices for the DS1064B (60MHz), DS 1104B (100 MHz), and DS 1204B (200 MHz) are $1,295, $1,595, and $1,895, respectively. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
