Weighing just 4.9 lb. including battery, the MS2711B spectrum analyzer measures frequency from 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz. In addition, measurements, such as channel power, adjacent channel power ratio, and occupied bandwidth can be performed via a single, dedicated button. A field-strength mode detects and measures electromagnetic leakage. Options include a preamplifier that allows the instrument to measure signal levels as low as -115 dBm and a tracking generator for tuning cavity filters, adjusting repeater gain, and for antenna alignment. Base price for the analyzer is $7,000. The preamplifier option costs $795 and the tracking generator is priced at $2,500. ANRITSU CORP., Richardson, TX. (972) 644-1777.
