Covering all conceivable pin counts from 44 to 304 pins, including lead pitches down to 0.4 mm, more than 30 RoboClip configurations are available to solve test clip problems. Because slight variations of tooling at various vendors and locations often create somewhat thicker/thinner and/or narrow/wider dimensions than the specifications indicate, clips designed for nominal values will not work for every variation. The new technology uses solid modeling and stereolithography to create slightly different variations for existing test clips to adjust for anomalies. The firm can create custom clips within six to eight weeks.
