The PDS5022S, described as a low-cost, full-featured 25-MHz two-channel benchtop oscilloscope, adds features normally found on more expensive instruments. These include auto-scale, FFT, and trigger hold. Autoscale can be set to automatically adjust the vertical gain, or the horizontal time base, or both together. FFT allows users to instantly see the frequency spectrum of the signal under test and trigger hold allows the introduction of a delay relative to the trigger point so that a different part of the signal can be seen. Price for the PDS5022S is $287. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
