The Phaseflex line of microwave test assemblies is now available in frequency ranges up to 65 GHz. The ruggedized coax assemblies are said to offer the electrical advantages of an expanded PTFE dielectric with an integrated environmental protection system. They are designed for production test applications or where the test area is in a remote location in relation to the test equipment, as well as for vector network analyzer installations where numerous measurements are needed. Other reported features include reliable phase and amplitude stability with flexure and low phase change over the assemblies's power handling capabilities. The flexible assemblies allow for 2.5 cm (min.) bend radius without affecting performance. Phase matching, temperature stability, and replaceable interface options are available, with standard configurations shipping within two days. W.L. GORE & ASSOCIATES INC., Elkton, MD.
