Modules Provide PID Loop Control Without Using A PLC

Feb. 22, 2011
CS series process control modules enable PID loop control of any process without using a PLC.

CS series process control modules enable PID loop control of any process without using a PLC. A variety of modules are available for temperature, flow, or pressure control. Single- and dual-loop temperature modules also provide ramp-and-soak controls. Up to 16 modules can be attached to any CS series master such as the CSMSTRV2 to provide up to 32 independent control loops. Using an advanced CS master like the CSMSTRSX adds features such as a virtual HMI, data logging, and a web server. Programming the master and control modules is accomplished using Crimson software. Price starts at $227. OMEGA ENGINEERING INC., Stamford, CT. (800) 872-9436.
