Tailored for use with the UF2 family of 66-MHz PCI oscilloscope/digitizer cards, a multiple recording (MR) option is now available that supports pulse repetition frequencies up to 16 MHz. Primarily intended for recording radar signals, the MR option can be used to record any similar waveforms such as sonar, ultrasound, and laser. It allows users to acquire fast waveforms with a high repetition rate without restarting the hardware during the dead time between waveforms, usually a few milliseconds. The option is implemented in firmware, which means the card re-arms itself and is ready for the next trigger event within four clock cycles. Price for the MR option is $290 and is available for all UF2 8-bit, 12-bit, 14-bit, and 16-bit PCI oscilloscope cards. STRATEGIC TEST CORP., Woburn, MA. (866) 898-3278.
