Poised for next generation test and measurement applications, the PXI-3800, a 3U PXI Pentium M system controller, enlists the most current embedded chipsets: an Intel 855GME graphics memory controller hub and a 6300ESB I/O controller hub. The controller claims to be the first that complies with PXI specification Rev.2.2. It supports a range of CPUs including 1.1 GHz and 1.6 GHz Pentium Ms with 1 MB of L2 cache and a Pentium M 745 (1.8 GHz) with 2 MB of cache. Other features include two USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, one parallel port, and one stereo audio output on the front panel. Other features include a 2.5" hard disk, CF Type-II socket, another hot-swappable Type-II CF socket on the front panel, and a PXI Trigger I/O on the front panel. Price is $3,200.
