Unveiled as the first LTE real-time signal generation and channel emulation solution for base-station test applications, the Signal Studio for 3GPP LTE software operates with the PXB MIMO receiver tester and reportedly provides the best base station receiver test capabilities on the market today. The N5106A PXB MIMO receiver tester teaming with N7624B Signal Studio for 3GPP LTE now supports advanced real-time LTE testing with Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback from the device under test. This enables closed-loop testing with dynamically changing LTE test signals, essential for measuring receiver performance as per the 3GPP LTE specification. Additional PXB MIMO receiver tester capabilities include transforming complex channel emulation up to 4x2 MIMO into a repeatable test process for those developing BTS or mobile receivers, support for all major wireless standards including Wi-Max and LTE, and summing LTE test signals with interferers created by other Signal Studio applications such as W-CDMA or GSM or custom IQ waveforms files. The advanced real-time LTE option, product number N7624B-SW4, is available now. Price is $11,500. AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 829-4444.
