The SG380 series RF generators use a rational approximation frequency synthesis architecture to achieve a frequency resolution of 1 µHz. They produce sine waves from DC to 2.025 GHz (SG382), 4.05 GHz (SG384), and 6.075 GHz (SG386). An optional frequency doubler (Opt. 02) extends frequency ranges of the SG384 and SG386 to 8.1 GHz. Differential clock outputs (Opt. 01) are available as well as an external I/Q modulation input (Opt. 03) and the SG380 Series offers an optional rubidium timebase (Opt. 04). Shared features include a phase noise of -116 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, 20 kHz offset, full octave frequency sweeps, an OCXO timebase, and RS-232, GPIB and Ethernet interfaces.
