With bandwidths from 350 MHz to 1 GHz, the next-generation DPO4000 series portable digital phosphor oscilloscopes (DPOs) are the first to employ Wave Inspector, a suite of easy-to-use tools for viewing, navigating, and analyzing waveforms. Wave Inspector provides a two-tier, front-panel knob for intuitive zooming and panning control. A play/pause feature with adjustable speed allows users to scroll waveforms across the screen while searching for the event of interest. It also allows searching acquisitions, automatically marking all occurrences of a user-specified event, and easily navigating between them. The series includes four models: the 350-MHz DPO4032 and DPO4034 with two and four channels, respectively, 500-MHz DPO4054 with four channels, and the 1-GHz, four-channel DPO4104. The DPO4104 provides 5 Gsamples/s on all channels while the other models specify 2.5 Gsamples/s. Prices range from $7,000 to $14,000. TEKTRONIX INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200.
