The JitterPro jitter and timing analysis package supplies designers with three views of signal jitter—as a time-domain JitterTrack trace that shows jitter versus time, in the statistical domain as a histogram of timing parameter measurements, and in the frequency domain as a spectral analysis of jitter components. The device also provides a range of measurements for gauging high-speed clock jitter, datastream jitter for telecom and datacom signals, and clock-to-data jitter. A corresponding JitterTrack time-domain view accompanies each of these measurements, as well. Up to 1 million measurements can be made from a continuous (zero dead time) data record of up to 16 million samples. The JitterPro also features a 30% lower noise floor (down to 2 ps). Its clock-skew measurement capability lets designers check widely distributed clocks for accuracy simultaneously at all parts of a circuit, too. Models are available for $3495.
