Designing RF Power and VSWR Measurement Systems

July 5, 2017
Learn how to design RF power and return loss measurement systems.

Date: Wednesday, July 26, 2017
Time: 11:00 AM ET | 5:00 PM CEST
Duration: 45 minutes

Co-sponsored by Analog Devices and Richardson RFPD.

Description:
This webcast will provide a step-by-step approach to designing RF power and return loss measurement systems. The webcast will focus on a number of common applications such as precision RF Power Measurement, measuring VSWR or Return Loss, measuring RF envelopes and detecting RF pulses.

During this webinar you will learn:
- How to configure and design typical RF Power Measurement circuits
- How to differentiate between the various types of RF Detectors (Log, RMS, Envelope, Dual)
- Understanding the key performance specs of RF Detectors and how they affect system performance

Who should attend:
RF and non-RF circuit designers and systems engineers who need to detect and measure RF Power and/or Return Loss in their end-products.

Speaker:
Eamon Nash is an Applications Engineering Director at Analog Devices. He has worked at Analog Devices for 27 years in various roles covering mixed signal, precision and RF products. He currently works in ADI’s RF products group and specializes in RF Power Measurement. Eamon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from University of Limerick, Ireland.
