Offering four channels of analog video buffering, the ZXFBF04 provides an alternative to high-performance video amplifiers. Small-signal bandwidth is rated at over 100 MHz. Also, 1-V p-p bandwidth is rated at over 20 MHz. Signal degradation is minimized by a typical slew rate of 40 V/µs. Each channel draws only 1.9 mA. The buffer is powered by a 5-V supply.
The risk of thermal runaway is eliminated by the internal design of the buffer, increasing the stability of the device. According to the company, the device is suitable for multichannel applications where broadcast quality is not required. These include video switching matrixes and multichannel analog-to-digital input buffers. The device is packaged in a 14-pin SOIC.

192-kHz, 24-Bit DAC Offers Digital Filter For Audio Applications
The AK4395 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) offers an 8-times digital filter for DVD/DVD-audio players, AV amplifiers, and other audio systems. This 192-kHz, 24-bit, two-channel device has a dynamic range of 120 dB (48 kHz fs). Digital filtering and reduction of wideband aliasing noise are included. The DAC also features a stopband attenuation of 110 dB for out-of-band noise.
The AK4395 is pin-compatible with both the AK4393 and the AK4394. Other features include full differential outputs, jitter-resistant SCF, built-in de-emphasis filter and soft mute, left and right independent zero detection pins, and independent digital ATT. The DAC is packaged in a 28-pin VSOP.

Family Of DACs Limits Power Consumption To 2.5 mW
The DAC7631/DAC7641 family of 16-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) limits power consumption to 2.5 mW. The DAC7631 (serial input) and DAC7641 (parallel input) provide a 5-V output for single- and dual-supply applications. Both feature a 10-µs settling time (0.003% accuracy) and 15-bit monotonic performance over a temperature range of −40°C to 85°C. Also, both devices feature a differential reference input and a configurable output amplifier.
Synchronous update is provided by a double-buffered DAC input logic structure in both devices. An asynchronous reset clears all registers to mid-scale (bipolar operation) or to zero-scale (unipolar operation). Additionally, the DAC7641 provides the data readback mode of internal input registers necessary in industrial process control operations. The DAC7631 is packaged in a SSOP-20 while the DAC7641 is packaged in a TQFP-32.

Micropower Comparator Line Operates From Single Supply To 1 V
The MAX9100/MAX9101 family of micropower comparators operates from a single supply down to 1 V with 5-µA consumption. The devices feature rail-to-rail outputs and a small footprint. Both comparators have a propagation delay of 4 ms.
Operating from a 1-V supply, the MAX9100 has a push-pull output stage that sinks and sources up to 5 mA. The MAX9101, operating from a 5.5-V supply, has an open-drain output stage that can be pulled beyond VCC. Both devices are offered in 5-pin SOT23 and 8-pin SO packages.

Amplifier Series Features Maximum Input Offset Voltage Of 50 µV
The LT1881/LT1884 dual and the LT1882/LT1885 quad rail-to-rail precision operational amplifiers feature maximum input offset voltage of 50 µV and a maximum input bias current of 200 pA. An offset voltage drift of 0.8 µV/°C maintains accuracy over the full operating-temperature range. The 130-dB CMRR and PSRR and a minimum voltage gain of 1 million V/V eliminate dc errors.
These amplifiers use low-noise bipolar technology and have a low 1/f noise corner of 6 Hz. The LT1884/LT1885 series have a 2.2-MHz bandwidth and 1.2-V/µs slew rates. Also, capacitive load stability for loads up to 1000 pF is available with the LT1881/LT1882. These amplifiers are capable of operation from 2.7 to 36 V and are specified for 5-V single supply and ±5-V operation. The supply current is less than 1 mA per amplifier. RD Converter Provides 2.3-Arc-Minute Accuracy
The RD-19230 series of 16-bit resolver-to-digital (RD) converters offer accuracy up to 2.3 arc minutes. Contained on a 64-pin, 10- by 10-mm flatpack, the devices combine analog circuitry and digital logic. Features offered by the RD converters include user-programmable encoder emulation, resolution, bandwidth, tracking rate, and velocity scaling. Synthesized reference capability eliminates errors caused by quadrature voltage and ensures accurate operation with a phase shift of up to 45°.
The internal encoder emulation feature enables the RD-19230 series converters to emulate incremental optical encoder output signals. Also, the dual bandwidth feature allows users to switch the resolution between 10-, 12-, 14-, or 16-bit settings on-the-fly with minimum upset to velocity and position information. The ±4-V velocity output (VEL) eliminates the need for a tachometer. The RD converters offer an operating-temperature range of −40°C to 85°C, making them useful for industrial and commercial position applications.
