Eliminating the need for multiple discrete parts by combining various analog and mixed-signal functions in space-saving packages, the TC1029 is the first device in the firm's Linear Building Block family. The device combines two rail-to-rail input and output op amps in a small 8-pin MSOP. The amps are designed for single-supply applications and operate from supplies as low as 1.8V. Operation from dual supplies is also possible, and supply current drain is independent of supply voltage. Power consumption is very low at 8 µA per op amp maximum. Thanks to an extended gain-bandwidth product of 90 kHz typical, the TC1029 is well suited for signal-conditioning analog baseband and audio applications in battery-operated wireless systems. An evaluation kit also is available.
