Enabling switchable graphics, the MAX14979E passive switch provides high-speed LVDS signal routing and exhibits a typical on capacitance of 8 pF and an on resistance 4?. It includes ±15 kV ESD protection (Human Body Model) on all pins, eliminating the need for external protection components. Operating from a 3.3V supply, the device switches four lanes of LVDS signals and three sets of AUX signals. Available in a 36-pin TQFN package measuring 6 mm x 6 mm, prices start at $1.65 each/1,000.
