Debuting as the first such devices in a SOT-953 package, NUP45V6 series ESD-protection diode arrays measure 1 mm x 1 mm with a 0.5 mm profile, 60% smaller than the company's SOT-553 devices. The series offers four independent lines of protection from ESD and includes devices with protection voltages of 5.6V, 6.8V, and 12 V and provide IEC61000 Level 4-2 ESD performance. Due to their miniature size, the diodes can be placed near I/O ports to suppress transient voltages before they can be coupled into the rest of the board.
