Enlarging the company's line of second-generation portable audio devices, the WM8751L and WM8955L stereo D/A converters integrate all input interfacing, output driver, and signal processing functions necessary for playback, recording and mixing in one package. Both devices operate on supply voltages from 1.8V to 3.6V and can output up to 400 mW directly to speakers, stereo headphones, or line outputs. Suitable for use in PDC, GSM and CDMA mobile phones, as well as MPEG-4 video players, the WM8955L includes an on-chip PLL. Audio specs common to both devices include a SNR of 98 dB and a THD of -95 dB.
