Carrying AEC-Q101 qualification, additions to the company's TrenchFET power MOSFET portfolio includes two 60V devices in PowerPAK 1212-8 packages specifying a junction temperature of 175°C. The n-channel SQ7414EN exhibits an on resistance of 25 milliOhms at a 10V gate drive and the p-channel SQ7415EN specifies 65 milliOhms. Measuring 3.3 mm x 3.3 mm with a height of 1.07 mm, the MOSFETs are reportedly the smallest on the market capable of handling power applications in automotive designs. With a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 2.4°C/W, the devices make suitable replacements for power MOSFETs in standard SO-8 cases. Prices start at $0.40 each/100,000.
