Hoofddorp, Netherlands: Omron Electronic Components Business Europe and RS Components signed a new pan-European distribution agreement. The pact extends their relationship in terms of geographical coverage and product depth.

Under the agreement, RS Components will offer Omron’s MEMS, the D6B and D7E micro tilt sensors, and the D6AN airflow sensors for filter monitoring in its range. These will sit alongside the established relay, connector, and switch devices for which Omron is known.

Says Kevin Thompson, general manager, Product Management at Electrocomponents Plc, “This agreement fits RS Components’ strategy of aligning with market leading, quality electronics brands like Omron, and taking them to the customer using our differentiated service package. The new relationship allows us to offer our customers in every corner of Europe our widest-ever range of Omron components for next day delivery.”
