Cooper-Standard Automotive names chairman, chief operating officer

Cooper-Standard Automotive (www.cooperstandard.com) has named James McElya Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Cooper-Standard Automotive has named James McElya chairman of the board of directors. He had served as president and chief executive officer. Former chairman Tony Johnson has assumed the role of lead director. The company also named Ed Hasler as its president and chief operating officer. He had been president of the company’s Global Sealing division and will retain that responsibility.
