Johnson Controls to sell diagnostics division to SPX

Johnson Controls (www.johnsoncontrols.com) has agreed to sell its Paris-based information diagnostics business unit, to SPX Corporation (www.spx.com) for approximately €32 million.

Johnson Controls has agreed to sell its Paris-based information
diagnostics business unit, to SPX Corporation for approximately €32 million. The business, which develops and manufactures vehicle diagnostics and garage equipment products, had 2006 revenues of approximately $80 million. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2007.
