QNX and Freescale collaborate on infotainment and telematics

QNX Software Systems (www.qnx.com) said Freescale Semiconductor (www.freescale.com) has become a hardware sponsor of QNX’s OEM Innovation Labs (OIL) program and QNX will support Freescale’s MPC5121e embedded processor for infotainment, telematics, and other automotive applications.

The firms will work together to develop a board support package for the device.
