StacoSwitch is offering an electronic board designed to control high current switching for up to six different devices in automotive and other applications. Wired into a 6 V to 28 V system, the high-power switching module (PSM) allows switch action to be set to “alternate” or “momentary” for each channel. Lighting intensity can be adjusted for both backlighting (green) and switch status (red) indicator LEDs.
StacoSwitch president Michael Carter said the module allows the use of a keypad or other low-current switches to control high-current devices and equipment; up to 15 A on any of six channels, with a total of 30 A. “Designers can “get rid of ugly toggle switches, flip flops and bulky relays,” he said.
