STMicro appoints corporate VPs for North American and Japanese subsidiaries

STMicroelectronics has appointed Reza Kazerounian and Marco Cassis as corporate vice presidents for North America and Japan, respectively.

STMicroelectronics has appointed Reza Kazerounian and Marco Cassis as corporate vice presidents for North America and Japan, respectively.

Kazerounian, currently group vice president and general manager of ST's Smart Card division, replaces Richard J. Pieranunzi as president of STMicroelectronics Inc. Pieranunzi is retiring on Sept. 30.

Marco Cassis, currently vice president automotive and a board member of the Japanese subsidiary, STMicroelectronics K.K., replaces Tetsuo Onikura as corporate vice president and president of ST Japan. Onikura is resigning from the company, effective Sept. 30.
