A recent development, the Rib-Cage1.27-mm pitch connectors have passed stringent shock-and-vibration testing per MIL-STD-202 Method 204 and -IEC 60512 Test 8d. Featuring a special multi-point, gold-plated, the two-row mezzanine, surface-mount board-to-board connector system supports three PCB stack heights and offers additional options for right-angle mounting. It carries a 1A current rating and is suitable for connecting to flexible and rigid circuits. Other features include a 200-cycle lifespan, low mating force, housing polarization, various position, attachment, and packaging options, and support for ten connector sizes between 10 and 100 positions.
