Targeting demanding applications, the company?s 2 mm connector employs high reliability Hypertac contacts and exhibits high immunity to shock and vibration. Based on a 2 mm centerline with six rows, the Hypertac contacts specify less than 8 m? of contact resistance and a current rating of 1A. The connector is interchangeable with the board layout on COTS systems and is reverse gender to commercial 2 mm products. Adapters are available to mate with COTS 2 mm connectors. Other features include EMI/RFI shielding, a keying feature to ensure proper mating, and a high temperature LCP insulator that meets NASA outgassing requirements. HYPERTRONICS CORP., Hudson, MA.
