Poised for industrial automation and process-control duties, the CA3 single-slot, CompactPCI single-board computer sports a compact, air-cooled 3U profile while supporting a 650 MHz Celeron processor and up to 256 MB of SDRAM. Despite its compact size, the board provides users with a wealth of I/O. These include a 10/100 Ethernet interface, two RS-232 ports, two USB ports, one parallel port, and front-panel PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. A floppy drive interface and an UltraDMA33 ATA interface are available for attaching an IDE hard drive or flash disk. Depending on configuration, starting price is $1,600.
