The DNA-DIO-448 and DNR-DIO-448 48-bit digital input boards are compatible with the company's Cube and RACKtangle I/O chassis, respectively, and can read all 48 bits at sustained rates in excess of 1 ksamples/s. Input switching levels and hysteresis are software selectable from 0 to 28 Vdc with a 25-mV resolution. A diagnostic input mode measures analog voltage at each input, allowing quick detection of short and open circuits as well identifying marginal or failing drive circuitry. Software for the DNA-DIO-448 comes by way of the UEIDAQ Framework, which provides a comprehensive API supporting Windows Vista, Linux, RT Linux, QNX, and RTX, RT operating systems. The board gains additional support via LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DASYLab, and/or any application supporting ActiveX, OPC, or Modbus TCP control. Prices for the DNA-DIO-448 and DNR-DIO-448 are $1,200 and $1,350 each, respectively. UNITED ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES INC., Canton, MA. (800) 829-4632.
