Welded steel construction with smooth corners, a flush-mounted safety-glass window, flush doors, and a durable black finish are all said to help qualify the company's new cabinets for use in housing data entry or LAN or WAN access PCs at locations such as light industrial warehouses and assembly facilities. The PC cabinets are divided into three lockable sections for controlled access: an upper section for a monitor; a middle section for holding a sliding keyboard and mouse tray; and the lower section for housing a CPU, shelves and printer, or 19" rack-mount equipment. The cabinet is designed to draw cooling air from the floor via an open base and louvers in the bottom quarter of the rear door, with hot air exhausted through an optional 6" fan in the top. The enclosure also features, among other things, a cable entry port in the top and holes for optional casters. More details are available from HOFFMAN, Anoka, MN. (800) 355-3560.
