Enhancing the accuracy of temperature measurement in power electronics, the Model 143-131A cold junction compensation (CJC) module for thermocouples features a hybrid SIP configuration to minimize board space. The module is available in a standard three-terminal package, employs an active semiconductor, and is compatible with most data-acquisition mounting boards and terminal blocks. Output voltage slope is -2.5 mV/°C, and accuracy is ±1.25°C within the operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Modules outside these specifications are possible upon request. Typical pricing is $3 each in volume with lead times from stock to eight weeks. BI TECHNOLOGIES, Fullerton, CA. (714) 447-2518.
