Compact Antenna Displays Performance Of A Conventional Monople Model

Jan. 1, 2001

Designed for 50 ohm systems, the JB-Series of antennas is said to pack the performance of a conventional monopole antenna into a compact, low-cost, cosmetically-attractive, 7-mm diameter package. The 1/4-wave antennas exhibit a VSWR of less than 1.9, span frequencies ranging from 900 MHz to 2.4 GHz, and feature a through-hole feedline that attaches directly to a user's pc board. Both internal and external mounting are possible. JJB-Series antennas are priced from $1.10 each in production quantities.
